Iran-Malawi to boost ties

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the Islamic Republic gives high priority to expanding its relations with Malawi.

President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with Malawi’s new ambassador Mosa Jaffi, on Monday evening.

“There is a great potential for expansion of mutual ties between Iran and Malawi, which can be employed to the interests of the two nations,”

Dr.Ahmadinejad also referred to the vast commonalities between Iran and Malawi and their extensive experience in different arenas, noting that Iran and Malawi can enjoy this immense potential to expand their cooperation in different fields such as an agriculture and industrial.

The Malawi’s new ambassador Mosa Jaffi, also after dedicating his credential letters to Dr.Ahmadinejad, pointing out to Iran’s unique progress said: “his country gives a high priority to its relations with Iran so that Iran and Malawi can further expand their ties.
