Education is our human right.

Since the start of the current school year, Amir Kabir University students have become the target of widespread arrests as well as disciplinary actions by the university management.

According to a RAHANA reporter, since September 2009, nearly 170 Amir Kabir students have been summoned to the disciplinary Committee. The majority of them were accused of taking part in the December 7 protest as well as boycotting the exams.

At least 40 students have been suspended. The majority of suspension orders are currently under review; however, a number of students have received their final rulings which include a ban from entering the university grounds. Vahid Dolatabadi, Sasan Shah-Mohammadi, Lida Mahoudi, Farzaneh Sharifi and Mahrdad Farnoush are among the students who have been served with their final rulings.
