In recent , the Islamic Republic has detained a number of female human rights and political activists, fearing they will be linked to the people`s movement.

Marzieh Khodabakhsh, Samira Khodabakhsh, Sogol Hajimobin, Mitra Ghasemi, Bahar Keshani, Masoomeh Rakhsha, Simin Valikhani, Mahnaz Talebi, Niloofar Babakhani, Anahita Sabur, Samira Sajoodi, Mehri Shapouri, Masoomeh Fatallahi, Fatemeh Rahnamah, Parvaneh Maddah, Fatemeh Vahab.
