Received reports indicate that , a cleric who has stood as active opposition to Khamenei will have his right to make phone calls revoked starting, Thursday January 7, 2010. Kazemeni-Boroujerdi has been in prison and since October 2006; ever since his arrest the regime has placed Kazemeini-Broujerdi under severe pressure to prevent his messages to reach his large number of supporters; he has been a brave forerunner of dissent from within the clerical regime.
It is said that due to the recent increase in arrests, various prisoners are being kept in storage containers. Other inhumane limitations created for prisoners include a significant decrease in the amount of food given to prisoners. Currently the amount of food given to the four prisoners in the special clergy section of the prison includes two pieces of bread, one tea bag, and a portion of food so small that it hardly feeds one person.
