Japanese highest circulation newspaper, writes: Was the assassination of professor Ali-Mohammadi, the physicist, an Iranian government conspiracy or an opposition ‘job’?

This newspaper writes that there is a consensus inside Iran that the Islamic regime’s aim is to create an excuse to quash it’s opposition by assassinating people like Ali-Mohammadi. Yomiuri indicates that the Iranian regime-run television has announced that the opposition that aims to halt the Iranian nuclear activities has is the element behind Ali-Mohammadi’s assassination but it is important to point out that Ali-Mohammadi was not a nuclear scientist. The report adds: Iranian regime-run media also claim that Ali-Mohammadi was a staunch supporter of the hardliners however in response to this claim, the reformists have produced a clear proof that in fact this physicist backed the reformist candidate which ran against Ahmadinejad during the June presidential election.

The newspaper goes on to say that in Iran there are many examples of the Islamic regime’s use of the intelligence forces in assassinating their opposition; the clear example of these violent act occurred during the presidency of Khatami, in the 1990’s with the of Darioush and Parvanah Forouhar, Mohammad Mokhatari and several others.

Yomiuri adds that there are many odd discrepancies in the case of the inhumane assassination of professor Ali-Mohammadi that stand out. One question posed in the Yomiuri article asks why such a powerful and modern bomb was used in the assassination of an unguarded professor. Another irregularity that the newspaper points out is the extraordinary governmental and regime’s authorities thrust on this case, which is unprecedented.

Finally quoting an Iranian journalist the article concludes that due to the widespread and ongoing force of the anti-regime protests, Iranian officials are seeking out any and all excuses to benefit and to quash the reformists and the continued protests.
