Posted by The man is 55 years old. He used to be a truck driver, but he lost his truck due to mechanical problems. He decided to set himself on fire in front of the Islamic Parliament, because he was not able to receive a loan.
This man, who is from Gonbad, had come to Tehran many times and had contacted different organizations of the country, trying to get a loan in order to buy a new truck.
Reports say that this man was arrested by the police while carrying a 1.5 Liter of gasoline. He claimed that since he did not receive any results by going to different authorities, he decided to attempt suicide by setting himself on fire in front of the parliament.
In his will he had written that the people who had not agreed to the loan were responsible for his death.
