The counselor of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs turns his back on the regime.
Abolfazl Eslami, former counselor of the Iranian Embassy in Tokyo, writes that he has decided to join the people’s movement in light of the Islamic Republic’s violence and oppression.
This is the first time that an Iranian diplomat in Eastern Asia has resigned from their service to the Islamic Regime. In recent weeks, several Iranian diplomats have reportedly resigned from their posts in Europe.
In a letter to the employees of the Iranian Embassy in Japan, Eslami urged others to join the people by distancing themselves from the violence and oppression of the Islamic Republic.
