* * Green Way Movement (Jaras) reports: New information has surfaced about the individual responsible for , Seyyed Ali Mousavi Habibi. and several others who were killed. The black patrol sedan, license plate 87M752 – Iran 11 with 4 passengers and a driver sped toward Shadehmaan Avenue where they first ran two protesters over, totally driving over one of them. While the vehicle was moving, the individual in the front passenger seat who was armed with a Colt 45 began shooting into the crowd of protesters some of whom fell to the ground either injured or dead; one of the dead was Mousavi Habibi. Fellow protesters then rushed to their aid. After reaching Shadehmaan Avenue, the car turned around and began driving toward Azadi Avenue. The vehicle which was also being accompanied by several agents on motorcycle then turned off onto Yadehgaar Autobahn heading south where the vehicle stops on the shoulder to connect with Basiji forces that had been waiting there for the arrival of these individuals; a large number of drivers driving on the Yaddegaar Autobahn who were driving by were witness to this and have said that they can identify these individuals. Also out of the a few thousand individuals who were present, several have come forward and have confirmed that they can identify the perpetrators responsible for this carnage. Everyone who witnessed the crime and has spoken of the shooter describes him as a young man of 19 or 20 years of age, with light, youthful beard and moustache in a beige outfit.

Like the obfuscation that the regime created around the murder of Neda Agha-Soltan, claiming that she was shot by a member of the regime’s opposition in order to discredit them, now the information office of the greater Tehran security command has claimed the very same in the case of Seyyed Ali Mousavi Habibi. The statement put out today by that office claimed that agents who have been ‘provoked’ by foreign powers, have been agitated against the rule of the regime, have taken to destroy the property of the government and have taken to attacking Ashura mourners by attacking security forces are in fact responsible for this crime.

* * Persian2English’s Blog reports:

Based on reports received by Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran, prisoner Ardeshir Keshavarz was sent to a solitary cell for execution.

Ardeshir Keshavarz, 35, has been in prison for more than six years. Most of his time has been spent in section 1 of Gohardasht Prison in Karaj. Mr. Keshavarz was recently transferred to a solitary cell for execution and is to be executed on Wednesday.

Prisoner Ardeshir Keshavarz successfully ran away from prison, together with a number of other prisoners but was arrested a year later. During that time, the government’s media wrongly accused him of murdering judge Moghaddas.

Mr. Keshavarz was arrested and charged with clashing with police in Kermanshah. It is believed that a police officer was killed in this clash. He was sentenced to death, and after six years, they now want to execute him. His brother is currently in Gohardasht prison.

After the huge protests on December 27, Ali Khamenei and his appointed judge, Sadeq Larijani are intent on group executions to intimidate society.

Group executions, with political motives of intimidating and terrorizing society, are being done by Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader, and his appointed judge. Ali Khamenei has committed various crimes against the Iranian people and he is effectively known as a criminal against humanity.

Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran condemn the group executions by order of the Supreme Leader as a crime against humanity and requests Human Rights High Commissioner and International bodies to (in order to end the crimes against humanity in Iran) refer the case for the regime’s inhumane crimes to the Security Council of the United Nations for binding decisions.
