At minimum, every day a construction worker in the province of Fars, loses his life as a result of a lack of on-the-job safety.

Farsheedian, chairman of the guild association of construction workers of the province of Fars discussed this matter with the Dastranj reporter and said: “Only in the very first month of the year, eighteen (18) construction workers have lost their lives from a lack of on-the-job safety. Unfortunately  direct force and supervision at the workplace, on-the-job safety for construction workers is not investigated and investigator only appear on the site after an accident has occurred. With the establishment and institution of safety and clinical centers for construction workers across the country, these accidents can be avoided.
