Four (4) of the injured during the tragic fire two (2) factories in Shah-Zand, who had over seventy (70%) percent burns on their bodies, expire.

Dr. Rabat Maylee, the director of trauma and medical emergencies of the Markazi (Central) province in an interview with the Iranian Student News Agency (ISNA) reporter, confirmed that on Saturday, fifth (5th) of Khordad, 1387 (May 25th, 2008) four (4) individuals were added to the list of those who lost their lives in the tragic fires of the Kimia Gostar’eh Emrooz and Kimia-garawn’eh Sepehr of area Shah-Zand, in the Markazi (Central) province. Dr. Maylee said: “Two (2) of the injured individuals who died were in the Esfahan hospital, one (1) was in the Shaheed Nekouie hospital in Ghom and the other in a hospital in Tehran.”

It is important to mention that following the incident, on the first (1st) day, twenty one (21) people died and forty four (44) were severely injured.
