With the allocation of a loan from the Crisis Committee of the Qom provincial commanders office, the overdue salaries of three hundred (300) veteran workers of the Tehran Patou and Iran Termeh factories may be paid so that the workers can end their long strike.

Qom-local labor activist, Ali Talebi spoke with Dastranj, saying: “Despite this decision, the workers strike that has continued on through into a tenth (10th) day, on the premises of the factory, so that with the stoppage of the production line, the management would consider and take action in compensating the workers , the nine months of their overdue salaries. Given the attention that was afforded and the kindness bestowed by the provincial commanders of Qom and the efforts of the Crisis Committee, it is fully expected that the workers financial problems will be quickly resolved.
