Sepehr Roshan summoned to Intelligence Office of Behshahr city for participating in religious meetings.

Bahai’ Committee of HRA reports that a Bahai’ citizen named Sepehr Roshan was summoned to the Intelligence Office of Behshahr city on November 25 for participating in Bahai’ religious ceremonies.

While interrogating Sepehr Roshan, Intelligence Ministry agents informed him that Bahai’ gatherings have been outlawed by the Attorney General. Intelligence Ministry agents threatened him in order to convince him to cooperate with the intelligence service and freed him after 2 hours of interrogation.

It is important to note that in the past few months many Bahai citizens in different cities across Iran have been summoned to the Information Offices of the Intelligence Ministry due to their participation in religious ceremonies.
