3 Student Activists Arrested in Lahijan

3 student activists were arrested and taken to an unknown location in Lahijan (Northern Iran) yesterday.

The Students Unit of HRA reports that yesterday at 9pm, intelligence agents arrested Rayhaneh Ansarifard (Gilan University student activist), Nasibeh Baghaeri (Gilan University student activist) and Maurice Bagheri (Mousavi campaign worker in Gilan) in their homes.

The agents also searched the 3 students’ houses and took away their personal belongings.

The agents claimed that they belonged to the Intelligence Ministry and the arrests were related to the upcoming Student Day on December 7th. There is no information on the whereabouts or  charges of the 3 arrested student activists.
