Regime makes special committees to fire and force dissenting university professors into early retirement. While a large number of students have been arrested and put in solitary confinement on the eve of Student’s Day (December 7th), special committees have been formed in all of Iran’s universities to fire and force university professors into retirement. These committees formed with the help of the Science Ministry (Ministry of Higher Learning) and government officials. (Nurooz Website – Nov. 25, 2009)
