From Beirut there are reports that two satellite companies belonging to Egypt and Saudi Arabia have now blocked the broadcast of the Iranian-run Arab language television station Al Alam. Egypt and Saudi Arabia had also previously taken a similar measure against the Al Manar channel which is a media arm to Lebanese Hezbollah.
