According to the Islamic Republic Daily, approximately 150 textile factory workers in the province of Ardabil (northwest Iran) gathered in front of the governor’s office to protest seven months of unpaid wages.

The factory was supposed to produce profits in a short time and employ approximately five thousand workers. However, the factory has cut the number of employees down by 15% and wages have remained unpaid.
