The Swiss Federal Penal Court has discontinued all legal assistance to Iran. The Swiss newspaper Neue Zuercher Zeitung in it’s Monday, March 15th edition writes that the Swiss prosecutor’s office has cited the reason to be the ongoing human rights violations committed at the hands of the regime in Tehran and has announced that any assistance is only possible under extremely specific circumstances. The Iranian regime had contacted the Swiss government to take legal action against a Portuguese citizen living in Cyprus who the Iranian authorities had given $120 million (USD) in order to purchase an Airbus.
