Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei urged Iran’s cultural officials on Tuesday to introduce the real image of the country to the world.
“Presenting a true and real image of the Islamic Republic and its current realities and advancements as well as promoting Persian Language and its literature are among the heavy responsibilities of the cultural envoys,” the leader said.
Addressing a number of Iranian cultural officials and attachés to the foreign countries, Ayatollah Khamenei slammed “certain foreign countries” over depicting “an unreal face” of the Islamic Republic in the world.
“They attempt to present an impaired face of the Islamic Republic to make the world people pessimistic about the Islamic system,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Earlier in November, Ayatollah Khamenei had urged the need to take measures against “the enemy’s” soft war against Iran.
“Today, Iran’s main priority is to repel soft warfare aimed at creating doubt, discord and pessimism among the Iranian nation,” Ayatollah Khamenei had said, addressing a large crowd of Basij (volunteer) forces.
