Employees at Social Security Organization Gather over Unpaid Wages

“We have warned the managing director that unless our backpay and benefits are paid by Wednesday, we will gather outside the ministry”, said one employee.

RAHANA – The employees at the Social Security Organization headquarters in Tehran gathered on behalf of all their colleagues across Iran, to protest their unpaid wages and benefits.

According to ILNA, the crowd was estimated at several hundred. Ali Zabihi the managing director of the organization was warned by the employees that unless their back pay and benefits are paid by Wednesday, they will gather outside the Ministry of Welfare and Social Security.
