Above: video that the regime has published of Rigi’s transport to Iran
February 24, 2010
On Tuesday, the Iranians regime boasted that Abdolmalek Rigi, the Sunni Baluchi leader was arrested by members of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) in an extraordinary operation outside Iran. Al Jazeera TV however reports that contrary to claims made by Tehran, Pakistani authorities who had arrested Rigi in Pakistan, handed Rigi over to Iranian authorities already one week ago.
Rigi’s group, Jundollah, in a statement issued yesterday called the Iranian regime an it’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security ‘too pathetic and worthless to be able to pull of such an operation’.
Tehran’s regime however vehemently denies Pakistan’s role in Rigi’s arrest.
It is important to mention that this is not the first time that the government of Pakistan has acted as an operative of the Iranian regime in attacking Iranians opposing the Iranian regime and who they claim to be criminals . The government of Pakistan is known to have arrested many Iranians and after torturing them, has delivered them to Iranian officials for imprisonment and often, execution.
UPDATE >> February 25th, 2010
Today, the regime-run news agency MEHR wrote: “Despite the reiteration of Iranian officials in the arrest of the leader of the little terrorist group, Abdolmalek Rigi, in an extremely complicated and sensitive operation, and despite the lack of help form any of the foreign governments around the world, in searching out either Rigi or other kidnappers of our brave Iranian diplomat, the Pakistani ambassador in Tehran continues to insist on Pakistan’s so-called important and indispensable role in this operation and goes on to claim that without Islamabad’s assistance this superb operation would have never been completed. All the while networks such as Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya continue to discredit our country’s extraordinary intelligence achievement. Though these foreign media outlets insist on creating their own scenarios in voicing the Pakistani ambassador’s outrageous claims, Heydar Moslehi, Iranian Minister of Intelligence and Security applauds the arrest of this evil character (Rigi) and delivers him to the hands of our judiciary for justice to be served.”
