The judge in charge of Abdollah Momeni’s case agreed to release him on $800,000 bail.

RAHANA – Abdollah Momeni’s wife announced the news and said the family cannot afford to post the $800,000 bail.
According to Kalame, Abdollah Momeni,who worked as a teacher, was recently fired from his work and the family, who does not have any source of income, lives in a rental house. Officials have promised to lower the amount of bail.

Abdollah Momeni was the spokesman of the Advar Tahkim Vahdat Office and worked for Karroubi’s campaign during the June presidential election. He was arrested 8 months ago and is currently detained in Evin prison.
